Discovery Plus would then go onto replace D Play in the rest of Europe the next day.

Situated just above the central banner is a site menu bar of sorts. This allows the user to browse by category or genre. As opposed to the typical descending series of rows separating content by type, Discovery Plus takes a different approach, requiring the user to click into a separate page for each category. While I admire this TV streaming site for taking a different approach than most, I do think that this layout may be less effective than the standard streaming site design. In my opinion, the more forward and back clicking that you have to do, the less intuitive the site becomes. That being said, I understand that this is a minor flaw (if it can be called a flaw), and I may just be being especially picky.

We've already talked about the kind of content that you'll find on Discovery Plus. I really like the fact that the content selection is so different from the rest of the best TV streaming sites on the market today. For one thing, there are no movies to stream here; it's all on-demand TV streaming. So, if you're looking to diversify your array of streaming sites, Discovery Plus would be a great way to juxtapose a film-heavy streaming site with one that is strictly for streaming TV shows.
