freeintertv.com

FreeInterTV is a streaming service that I recently learned about. A close friend sent me a link to this service suggesting I review the interface and the overall service. After streaming on the network for nearly two weeks, here's what I found. It has 1900+ channels with live broadcasts from all over the world. I don't want you to consider it as freeware but rather as free Internet TV. It's similar in its operation to USTV GO. The only difference between the two services is that FreeInterTV has a massive catalog of channels from around the world. New channels are added every week, much to my surprise, and even regional channels from countries such as India, Russia, Ukraine, and Turkey have been included in the FreeInterTV library. Created by Alexander Tsybulsky, this service offers news, entertainment, and music channels for free.

What is FreeInterTV?

FreeInterTV is a lesser-known IPTV website that provides access to over 1900+ channels without spending a single dollar. There are many more features on this streaming site which we will discuss later. For now, all you need to know is that you can access this site using a VPN (especially if you're in a third-world country) and all you need for that is a stable internet connection.

Why should you stream on FreeInterTV?

If a streaming service has the ability to stream over 2,000+ channels, you know that you can never run out of content. Especially because most of the content is purely live TV and streaming which continues updating every week or so. FreeInterTV continuously adds more regional networks every week, keeping the users glued to its network. You can find some of the remotest channels on the network which you wouldn't get on a premium service network and that is something which makes this website great.

Remote but exceptional

One of the reasons why FreeInterTV cannot be seen as a cord-cutting alternative is that its name is not well known. If you are hearing about ?FreeInterTV? for the first time, I would not be surprised. Now that you know about it, I would advise you to explore their massive catalog of live TV content which actually has the potential to become a cord-cutting alternative.

Top 100 channels

Alexander and his team have taken special efforts to segregate the most viewed channels from the rest of the herd, providing users with an easy way to find the top channels. We'll discuss the channels in detail in their respective content categories, but for now, I just want you to know that you can access them by clicking on one single link.

Horoscope

One of the most absurd yet fun things I saw on this streaming service was a category called Horoscope. The category comes off as a filler, but it's fun to check what's up with your luck in general. There's a dedicated horoscope page which is updated regularly, for instance, mine says "Take your time as you strive to communicate your side of the story." So, that's something I'm doing with this review.

Decent Stream

Though FreeInterTV is not the best IPTV out there, it does offer a decent streaming experience. There are a few issues here and there but the actual video playing experience is actually cool. I didn't face any major problems once I reached the content page, which after loading for a while, started playing the content in real-time without any buffer or annoying pop-up ads.

How to access FreeInterTV?

As mentioned earlier, you can access FreeInterTV directly by typing its name. If that doesn't work for you, you can use the following link: FreeInterTV. I would suggest you use a VPN regardless of your location as it will protect you from not only hackers but also malvertisements.

Design

The design of this website is extremely unattractive. It looks as if it was created in the 90s or was created by an intern who never updated it. Everything from the header to footer is bland - and that's actually a good thing. The website has a logo and a search bar followed by the categories section, which includes Home, TV Online, Articles, Horoscope, Guest Book and Feedback. Each of the headings has its own dedicated page. Out of all these pages, Home, Horoscope and Feedback were the only ones that were worth browsing. TV Online redirects you to another page whereas the articles page hasn't been updated since 2015. Thus, I'd advise you to save your time by not visiting those pages.

The most unpleasant banner I have seen so far. Though there are no ads or irritating native blogs, the central area in the hero section is horrendous. Yet again, its functionality overtakes the visual appeal as each banner is clickable which leads you to a new page wherein you choose a particular channel from that country.

Screen: As you scroll down the website, you will find a list of channels on the left under the "Most Popular" tab and thumbnails with channels details placed horizontally, one after the other. There is the logo on the left followed by Channel, Niche, Views, Country and Description. Apart from these, there is not much to talk about design on FreeInterTV. I have covered the key areas on the website and that is pretty much it.

Content

If the design of FreeInterTV is its Achilles heel, then the content on the service is truly Peter Parker's web. Once you are on the service, you are hooked. The vast library of content from niches such as Entertainment, Finance, General, Kids, Local, Movies, Movies, News, Religious, Sports, Teleshopping, Weather, WebCam and Zoo Cam ensures that there is something for everyone. Each channel is sorted by country and you can choose any country to browse those niches. Just choose a location, select the niche, and press on the search button. The provided channels will be dedicated to that region.

For example, when I click "US" and "Sports," I get channels such as Gol TV, Fox Soccer, Universal Sports, ESPN3, ESPN Mobile, Maxx Sports, Speed TV, ESPN, ESPN HD, HBO Boxing, BeIN Sports, NBC Sports, NFL Network, Sky Sports, Fox Sports 1 and 2 and Baseball Channel among many others.

I have discussed all of the various channels above and have compiled a small classification of the top channels in each niche.

News channels abound, including MSNBC, Fox, Bloomberg, C-Span, CNN, ABC, and NBC live.

Entertainment channels are comedy central, destination america, history channel, FX, tbs, MTV, own, t&t and USA network.

HBO, Starz, Telemundo, NFL Network, Baseball Channel, FXX and Bravo are all premium channels.

Some sports channels are ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN HD, Gol TV, NFL Network and HBO Boxing.

It is crazy how most of these channels cost $80 or more as part of your cable bill and with FreeInterTV, you can watch them for free. Be it NBA or NFL, you can stream live from anywhere in the world with FreeInterTV.

Desktop/Mobile experience

I was not pleased with the mobile website of FreeInterTV. The desktop experience was not something to write home about either. Sure, the streaming does not have ad discrepancies but the quality is not the best. It is more of a compromising streaming experience even with a 32MB internet connection. After streaming from my HP laptop, I found that there were few positives. These include Windows Media decoders and RealMedia which add to the video playing capabilities on this platform. Additionally, the channels are well-bifurcated under headings which makes it easy to access the content quickly.

Suggestions I have for FreeInterTV

I feel that Alexander and his team should work on improving the interface of FreeInterTV. They can host the content on a much better website where the titles look more attractive. Channels can be arranged better and overall, there is a massive need for an upgrade in a graphical sense.

Conclusion

This service does not stand out from other free IPTV streaming services, having all the content found in this world. While it has a strong foundation, it does not excel in one area that would make it standout.
