Four Movie Rulz is an unconventional free movie streaming site that I didn't expect to be very good. Its quality exceeded my expectations with every click, so will it be the best free movie streaming site for you? Let's take a look and find out.
Design
I think it's safe to say that free movie streaming sites don't usually have the best user experience when it comes to their site design. In fact, I've come to expect poor site design on these types of websites. Sure, there are a few exceptions, but for the most part, I'm not overly impressed when I visit one of these sites.
Unfortunately, the site design of 4 Movie Rulz?s site is no exception to this rule. When I first visited this site and landed on its home page, I was underwhelmed. It looks a bit cheap, sophomoric, and amateurish. I don?t know a lick of code, and I think that if you gave me a few hours and a reference book, I could probably build a better-looking website.
However, the site that I am comparing it to is the best of the best and is completely unique in its design.
There is nothing exceptional about this site, other than the fact that it is exceptionally plain and stagnant. Although it is rare, I have seen free movie streaming sites that have managed to really impress me with dynamic, immersive, and experiential site design. These sites will have responsive side-scrolling libraries, windows containing additional info that will smoothly materialize when you hover your cursor over a thumbnail, extensive systems of organization and filtering for easy and intuitive browsing. However, the site that I am comparing it to is the best of the best and is completely unique in its design.
Although Movie Rulz offers a small selection of movie thumbnails, these titles are split into 2 main sections: Featured Movies and Latest Movies. The only other means of browsing free movie streams on the website is by scrolling up to the top of the page and accessing the site menu bar.
At least, this part of the site is somewhat helpful. Here, you can access various corners of the site that may actually aid you in finding the kind of movies that you are looking for. You can jump to any section of the site by choosing one of the following options: Home, Featured, Hollywood, Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Other (featuring additional languages and adult films), genres, and DVD Rip. Clicking on Genres provides a halfway decent means of browsing allowing you to filter the available movies by, well, genre or year of release (but not both simultaneously).
Overall, I would love to see 4 Movie Rulz undergo a major redesign. This site appears to have some real potential, and it would be nice to see this potential unlocked in future iterations of this free movie streaming site. That being said, as it stands today, I cannot in good conscience say that 4 Movie Rulz is designed well. It is not the worst site I have ever seen, sure, but it is far from the best free movie site from a design standpoint also.
Content and Features
So, you have presumably gathered by now the gist of what types of free movies can be streamed at 4 Movie Rulz. Indeed, what this site lacks in design, it makes up for in diversity and quantity of movies. There is a little bit of something for everyone here. Whether you like action movies, romances, thrillers, sci-fi, or anything in between, 4 Movie Rulz will have plenty of options to keep you entertained for hours.
One of the great advantages of this free movie streaming site is that it caters to a wide variety of languages. India is a very diverse country, and it's great to see that 4 Movie Rulz reflects this. Although many free movie streaming sites focus on only a single language, 4 Movie Rulz casts a very wide net. Whether you speak Telugu, Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Malayalam, or Bengali, you will be able to stream free movies without any language barrier here.
The 4 Movie Rulz website offers music streaming in addition to free movie streaming. This separates it from most of its competitors, who might offer free TV shows in addition to movies.
There is one big problem I have with 4 Movie Rulz. The site does not contain embedded movie streams, but instead provides a list of links to host sites where you can watch free movies. Most of the movies on 4 Movie Rulz also come with torrent magnet links, so you can download them if you prefer.
The reason that I dislike this is because I expect to be able to stream free movies from a free movie streaming site. Especially when there is no guarantee that these other sites are safe, even if I have estimated 4 movie rupees to be safe and legitimate.
I personally do not download any kind of file onto my computer from a site until that site has earned my trust. Maybe (maybe) I would consider downloading torrents from 4 Movie Rulz eventually if they upheld their end of the bargain as a free movie streaming site; that is to say, if they actually let me stream free movies on their site.
I must warn my readers that they should proceed with caution when streaming content from non-quintessential free movie streaming sites. I did not choose to click any of the links in this paragraph, but that doesn't mean they're not unsafe.
Mobile and Desktop Experience
Wow, it is unusual to find a free movie streaming site with so many ups and downs recently. It is unusual for a website like this to offer a mobile app. However, 4 Movie Rulz, once again, surprises with its availability in the browser and its easy access on mobile devices. Additionally, you can download the 4 Movie Rulz mobile app directly from the website.
The app, unfortunately, is not available on Google Play, but there are instructions that will guide you through the download and installation process. Android users, though, are welcome to download the app from a direct download link or a torrent magnet link and then manually install the app onto their phones.
I cannot speak to the app's quality. I do not have an Android device; and even if I did, based on the rest of the website, I am not entirely convinced that I would be willing to go through the trouble. Especially if the app is more of the same: links to third party sites instead of embedded free movies that I can stream. However, if you do come to love 4 Movie Rulz, then the fact that a mobile app exists at all will be great news, as this is an extremely rare feature of a free movie streaming site like this one.
Suggestions that I have for 4 Movie Rulz
I would like to make a suggestion that you embed your free movies onto your site directly. If you do not do this, I think it will be difficult for people to trust you. There are some terrible streaming sites out there, and if someone tries to send me to one of them, I think you lose credibility. 4 Movie Rulz recommends that you allow your users to stream movies without clicking blindly into additional links.
