Cord-cutting is on the rise and more and more people are choosing to ditch traditional cable and satellite TV for subscription-based streaming services. This is generally referred to as ?cord-cutting?, as people are cutting the cords of landlocked cable and embracing the internet's abilities to provide any kind of content they want, any time of the day or night, with more convenience than traditional cable ever could.
Going digital has many advantages for TV viewers. One of the great things about being able to watch TV shows and games digitally is that you can take them with you anywhere. This is especially important for sports fans, who don't want to miss any of the action. Thanks to streaming services, you no longer have to worry about missing a moment of your favorite show.
If you plan to restock on beer at the store during the game, be sure to have a streaming service so that you can continue watching the game from your smartphone on the way. It is truly a beautiful time to be alive, and streaming your favorite games is a terrific way to pass the time.
However, you are still left with the question of which streaming service to use. Do you go with a more cable-like service that provides access to all your favorite networks and some sports broadcasts like, say, Hulu Live TV does? or do you go with a specific sports package? If you're a sports fanatic, no matter your sport of choice, you will likely want to at least entertain the latter. Whether you are hoping to keep up with NFL, MLB, or NHL games, there is a streaming service out there that caters directly to your needs.
If like me you watch more hockey than anything else, then NHL TV might be an excellent investment. In fact, when you consider that the NHL probably has more games per season than any other professional sports league and that a lot of them aren't televised on traditional cable networks, NHL TV starts to look like a wise decision. Let's take a look at what it has to offer and see if we can't make the decision to get it.

The National Hockey League was founded in 1917 and it replaced the National Hockey Association. The NHL was created as a fresh start and eventually replaced the NHA as one of the leagues that could compete for the Stanley Cup. Toronto won the first NHL title, defeating the Vancouver Millionaires of the Pacific Coast Hockey Association for the 1918 Stanley Cup.
The NHL continued to grow and prosper from there. The first NHL All-Star game was held as a benefit to Ace Bailey, whose career had recently been cut short due to a vicious hit from Eddie Shore. Deaths and injuries, as well as the Great Depression and World War II, all took a huge toll on the league. And although expansion was somewhat stalled during these years, by the time the 50s and 60s rolled around, the NHL was flying fast again.
In the mid-1960s, the NHL doubled in size from six teams to twelve. This growth was spurred by American television contracts. In 1967-68, the league added the Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota North Stars, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, California Seals, and St. Louis Blues. Canadian fans were unhappy about this expansion, as all six teams were located in the US. The league responded by adding the Vancouver Canucks and Buffalo Sabres in 1970 - both teams that lived on the Canadian-US border.
And so, the NHL's own streaming service has come to be the norm in today's market. Without any American TV networks willing to air games live, the NHL had to take matters into their own hands and created NHL TV. This allowed them to stream their games directly to fans, setting them apart from other professional sports leagues.

NHL TV is an exceptionally beautiful website. It employs a sleek aesthetic that has been characteristic of the NHL for many years. Additionally, its user interface is very easy to navigate and understand. Simply clicking on any of the site menu options (all of which are straightforward and easy to find) will automatically bring you to the relevant content. It is that simple. If you want to watch highlights or get an overview of the league standings, just click on the "Scores" tab or "Standings" tab, respectively.
NHL TV offers a customizable experience that makes it more like watching your favorite team than most streaming services. You can choose which team you want to follow when you sign up, and the service will provide updates and content specifically related to that team. You can watch whatever games you want, but there is always quick access to information about your favorite team?s news, scores, etc. This makes being a hockey fan easier than ever before.

NHL TV offers access to every NHL game that occurs, depending on your subscription. You also get additional angles on games that are being televised that cable networks do not provide, which is pretty cool.
. In addition to those features, NHL TV offers great streaming quality at 60 fps, the ability to choose different announcers and commentaries, and full DVR capabilities to record games you will have to miss. NHL TV really has just about everything that one could hope for in a streaming service. I don't think they have overlooked anything.

Desktop and Mobile Experience

NHL TV's live streaming service is available on just about any device on the market. From Roku to Playstation to Chromecast to X Box and everything in between, NHL TV is a versatile service that offers crystal-clear live streaming no matter what device you are viewing it on.
The app has been well received, and for good reason. It is easy to use, totally streamlined, and just as intuitive as the website. The NHL TV app on the Apple App Store has received an average rating of 4.4 stars (of 16 thousand reviews). NHL always makes a quality product.

Pricing and Plans

NHL TV comes in three tiers, with the best value being the full season pass. This will only cost $69.99. It is a great price when you consider all of the perks that come with it, like access to all of the games you would otherwise not have access to. It's especially good compared to the other two options NHL TV offers.
The monthly pass is $24.99 per month. However, it can be expensive if you only have the pass for a short period of time. But I could see this as an option if you are not sure whether or not you want to spend $70 right away. This would be a way to try out the service before spending more money.
The NHL TV Single Team Pass allows viewers to watch only their favorite team, without any other games being available. The pass costs $55.99 and is the final option that NHL TV offers. Some people might find this option more fulfilling than watching all of the sport, while others may not be interested in spending extra money on it.

Suggestions that I have for NHL TV

Some sort of family plan option would be great to see. For example, if you and your friends tend to watch NHL games together, it would be nice to be able to pay $90 for a 6-account type deal. Then you could track how your teams rank against each other; perhaps adding in elements of a fantasy league couldn't hurt either.
The study found that oysters are a nutritious and affordable food option. They are high in protein, vitamins, minerals, and Omega-3 fatty acids. Additionally, they are low in calories and fat.
If you are a serious hockey fan, NHL TV is a must-have. The streaming quality is great, access to every single NHL game is available, and keeping tabs on your team in a matter of seconds is possible. This service is definitely worth the investment for any hockey fan.
