A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a tool that can help you protect your privacy and keep your data safe when you are online. Without a VPN, your data is easy to see and may be stolen by people who know how to find it. Additionally, your IP address is revealed, which means that anyone can track your movements and activities online. There are many malicious actors on the internet who would love to exploit your data or use it in ways that you do not want them to. A VPN can help you protect yourself from these dangers.
Your credit card number, social security number, home address, bank account information, and private emails may be useful to a hacker. Almost anything you transmit on the internet can be viewed by someone.
It may be a hacker, it may be your ISP, or it may be your own government. It is well documented by now that a majority of ISPs openly and shamelessly collect their users' internet data and activity and then sell it off to third-party corporations. This is how companies target you in ads (well, one of the ways). ISPs also tend to be frequently in your business, especially when it comes to P2P file sharing and, in some cases, free streaming over their servers. I for one have received a number of cease and desist letters for this. Personally, it does not make me feel comfortable to know that my ISP is monitoring my every move on the internet.
The government, of course, is fully capable of spying on its citizens around the world. The United States particularly is pernicious about this, as are countries like the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy.
An international coalition known as "The 14 Eyes" operates in a clandestine manner, spying on citizens' online activity and sharing the information amongst themselves. Not only is your data not safe from your own country, it is not safe from foreign governments either.
If you want to stay private and anonymous when browsing the internet, encrypting your data is key. However, not all encryption tools are equal, so it's important to choose one that will be strong enough to keep your information secret. A good way to do this is by using a VPN service. But which one? There are a lot of them on the market these days, so how do you know which one is right for you?
That is my mission. I am not just a reviewer of free movie streaming sites, free TV streaming apps, and premium streaming services ? I also have researched the best virtual private networks to make your streaming life safer, faster, and easier than ever. The VPNs that I have featured on my list are not just the best VPNs in general - they are specifically chosen for their ability to enhance streaming experience. What good is a VPN if it can't help you watch Netflix? right?
That being said, there are a few things to take into account when evaluating the quality of a Virtual Private Network. For example, any VPN can be critiqued based on privacy, server numbers and locations, speed, performance, user-friendliness, and price.
Internet Private Access is rapidly becoming more popular, with many people considering it a must-have. However, we'll see if it can live up to the hype in this article.
Design
The internet private access VPN offers a simplistic and easy-to-use interface. It is straightforward and convenient with quick access options.
Once you access the main control center of Private Internet Access, you will find a large power button and a menu that allows you to easily switch your server location. The interface is very straightforward; I trust that even my grandmother could use it with few (if any) issues.
Below the oversized power button is a map of the world. The location of the server that you are connected to will be displayed on the map with a green dot. This, of course, is little more than a fun aesthetic twist, but hey, it is one of those things that makes Internet Private Access unique.
Content and Features
Private Internet Access boasts a long list of features. I have not seen such a long list of features in any other VPN yet.
Secure VPN service, top encryption, and privacy are all important features for users. The encrypted WIFI connections and P2P support add to the convenience of using the service. Ad-blocker, tracker blocker, malware blocker, and multiple gateways make it easy to use the service on different devices simultaneously. Unlimited bandwidth keeps you connected without having to worry about data caps. Setup is instantaneous and there are over 3,300+ servers available worldwide.
After going through this sprawling list of features, a few things become clear. For one, Private Internet Access does come with just about everything you want in a VPN - top-notch security, privacy, encryption, no traffic logs, etc. One issue that some might take with it is the lack of servers and reach that Private Internet Access has when compared to other VPNs.
That being said, Private Internet Access is both P2P and streaming-friendly. Access Netflix in other countries, stream HD videos, and take advantage of some of the fastest VPN speeds on the market. As a matter of fact, according to Top 10 VPN, Private Internet Access is the fastest VPN (for local connections) that was tested. International connections, however, were a little on the slower side (but this is to be expected).
Mobile and Desktop Experience
Private Internet Access is a widely available, standalone software and browser extension, app and mobile software. Private Internet Access is easy to use on both desktop and mobile devices.
Private Internet Access allows for maximum privacy no matter where you are, with up to 10 devices permitted at one time. This is a negative mark for this VPN, as there are some VPNs that allow users to gain privacy and anonymity on unlimited devices.
Pricing and Plans
Private Internet Access offers three payment options: monthly, upfront, and long-term. Each option seems pretty fair to me. As is the case with just about every VPN in the market, Private Internet Access offers a monthly option, as well as a couple more long-term options that end up being cheaper but require you to pay upfront.
-One time payment: $9.95
The monthly service fee for the product is $9.95/month. The one time payment is $9.95.
The 6-month plan will cost $5.99/month. This will be worth $35.95 in total.
)
The yearly tuition price is $39.95.
Suggestions that I have for Private Internet Access
I recommend that Private Internet Access relocate its headquarters as soon as possible in order to protect its customers' privacy. This is because the US government can easily access data from Private Internet Access if they wanted to, according to the law.
That being said, there are many other VPNs out there that are located in more privacy-friendly locales, such as the Virgin Islands. Another note is that I would love to see Private Internet Access expand a bit more. There are VPNs on the market with nearly double the number of servers as Internet Private Access.
