The popularity of superheroes movies has continued to rise in recent years, with many blockbuster movie adaptations generating more than $100 million at the box office. As a fan, you love what the studios come up with and appreciate or criticize based upon whether you liked the content or not. Most of the time, such movies resonate with people because they have grown up reading comics about the same.
We all have spent endless hours engrossed in our favorite comics - a fascination that had no end. With major studios, we've found another way to be joyous, and that's because we get to see a unique screenplay that draws its roots from the comics. Since 1978, after the first Superman was released, 46 superhero films have managed to gross more than 100 million dollars. And that's not mere luck or coincidence.
As an audience, we have a strong desire to watch these movies, which is why they are so popular. Marvel and DC Studios are both known for their box office success. Marvel has been able to bring in more than $500 million per release, while DC has been able to do the same more than a few times. But today, we're going to focus on DC Comics. Why? Because there is a community on Reddit called r/DC_Cinematic. However, before we discuss it, I want to give you a quick overview of DC Comics.

DC Comics and Cinema Overview

DC Comics, as an entertainment company, has a rich history and has been a part of American pop culture for over eighty years. It owns some of the most endearing characters in the past century, which has attracted a large pool of viewers to date. From the first Superman story in 1938, DC solidified its stance with the introduction of Batman (1939) and Wonder Woman (1941).
In 1969, Warner Brothers purchased DC Comics, and to date, that hasn't changed. In recent years, DC has lost its place as the 21st century cinematic universe powerhouse to Marvel, which has been able to generate more than $11 billion in less than two decades. With their recent release, ?Joker,' DC is finding its feet yet again and is looking towards making a staggering comeback.

My recent experience on r/DC_Cinematic

I found the recent experience on r/DC_Cinematic to be underwhelming because it was a hard pill to swallow. The user posted how DC made a huge error by firing Junkie XL so late in post-production and scrapped the already completed score. As much as I love Elfman, there's no denying that he would have to rush through his work, based upon the storyboards. So, yes, I kind of agree with the OP.

About r/DC_Cinematic - Community & Members

The subreddit r/DC_Cinematic is a community where users can discuss DC movies, comics, music, and characters in detail. The community has 192,000 members, out of which 550-750 members are online at any given time. This subreddit was created on September 21st, 2013, and has seen a small decrease in recent years. Given that it's a super-niche page and it just talks about DC content, I don't think the number of users is less.
This is an excellent platform to share your opinion and gauge fellow members' opinions on the subject of DC comic characters, movies, and other cinematic threads.
