The following year, ViaPlay sold All Media Baltics the rights to operate the Baltic versions of their website. In 2021, ViaPlay is scheduled to undergo a relaunch and rebranding in the Baltics, become available in Poland in August, and be launched in the United States at the end of the year. Its sports coverage is almost certainly going to make it one of the most competitive streaming services in the US next year.

So, unlike some of the best movie streaming sites on the web, Viaplay has less history than it does a shining future. I, for one, can't wait to see what Viaplay does in the months and years to come.

Design

I find that ViaPlay's user interface is very intuitive and user-friendly. It is dynamic, responsive, and visually stunning. There are many movie streaming sites that could use some of the design tips that ViaPlay has implemented. ViaPlay's layout, more or less, is similar to that of a typical movie streaming site. You will find an extra-large banner promoting featured films and series, alternating suggestions on a loop. Below that, as is to be expected, comes a series of horizontally situated menus that are separated by category. Easily and smoothly browse by New releases, Top movies, curated collections, or genre.

Unlike other movie streaming sites, ViaPlay's design is focused on the little details. For example, the site is far from visually static. You will find various tile sizes, shapes, and ways to browse. There are a few additional featured films and series, for instance, peppered in alongside lists and menus that you will cross sporadically as you scroll down the page.

Now we can move onto television. ViaPlay has live TV streaming which differs by region, but in Sweden, you can tune into channels 3, 6, 8, and 10 any time of the day or night. And this doesn't even take into account the myriad popular TV series that you can rent, buy, or stream on-demand with your subscription on ViaPlay.

Finally, sports. Premium sports streaming services often require a subscription. ViaPlay is determined to show that you can have all the sports coverage you need in one place with their service. Live coverage of UEFA Champions League, Premier League, NHL, European Tour, Bundesliga, UFC, and NFL is available.

I find it hard to believe that ViaPlay is actually a good product.
